new and efficient gas-fired
generating plants have plenty
of capacity.
Warwick,
with 100 percent digital switching,
is an ideal location for complex
operations requiring a state-of-the-art
telecommunications network.
Major
oil companies have storage
and distribution facilities
nearby and oil
can be easily
trucked into Warwick from anywhere
in the northeast via Interstate
95.
Through
New
England
Gas
businesses
can
choose
a
natural
gas
supplier
and
New
England
Gas
will
deliver
or
transport
the
gas
to
your
site.
The
Kent County Water Authority
and The Warwick Water Authority
serve the majority of Warwick
residents and businesses. Both
authorities receive their water
supply from the Scituate Reservoir
and five tributaries that encompass
93 square miles with a capacity
of over 41 billion gallons.
The
capacity of the sewer treatment
facility is 5 million gallons
daily. The City of Warwick expects
to have 90% of the City hooked
up to sewers by 2009.
