Warwick has a large mix of single-family homes, condominiums and apartments. The number of people choosing to call Warwick “home” continues to grow. This is due to affordability. According to recent numbers, the average sale price for a single-family home in Warwick was just over $245,000. According to the 2000 Census there were 37,000 housing units in Warwick and the population density was 2,417 persons per square mile of land area.

Healthcare – Close At Hand
Warwick is home to Kent Hospital, which is the largest community hospital in Rhode Island. Kent Hospital has just completed a major expansion making it the second largest hospital overall in Rhode Island.  Kent’s Emergency Department, Rhode Island’s second busiest, ranks in the top ten percent for volume of patients nationwide and  is one of Warwick’s largest employers.

Higher Education Facilities

CCRI offers programs in academic and vocational-technical areas as well as a full complement of programs and services for full and part-time students, for recent high school graduates and for older adult learners.
