Warwick Station Redevelopment District
An ambitious plan is underway in Warwick to redevelop the area around T.F. Green Airport. There will be over 1 million gross square feet of development, which will include office, retail, hotel and residential property components. In the plan, the district covers 95 acres of land with the initial focus of redevelopment on 20 acres adjacent to the airport. When completed, Warwick Station will be the closest passenger rail line to a major airport in the country. A recent market analysis found that the Redevelopment District would be an excellent location for hospitality, financial services, banking and retail/restaurant.
